WASHINGTON – On May 21, 2025, the Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing for John A. Squires, nominated on March 11 by President Trump to serve as Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Below is a statement from Chris Mohr and Mike Lemon, Co-chairs of the United for Patent Reform coalition:
