Coalition Letter from General Counsel in Support of HR 9, the Innovation Act

The bipartisan Innovation Act (H.R. 9) takes great strides toward ending the abusive patent

litigation tactics that have plagued American businesses large and small. We have been

assured that the Innovation Act will be amended to require that patent complaints identify

each claim of each allegedly infringed patent and explain how the defendant is

infringing. With that amendment, we strongly endorse the Innovation Act and we urge the

United States House of Representatives to bring this important bill to a vote and pass it

swiftly.
